The Go Pray app uses the internet to communicate with servers to look up location and mosque information.

Personally Identifiable Information

Go Pray records your name and email address when you verify, update or add prayer places.

The name and email address used is determined from your profile (eg. Google, Facebook) when you log in to the application.

This information is used to prevent spamming of our service. If you are suspected of spamming, we may ban your login from verifying, updating or adding new prayer places.

We may use your email address to contact you for further clarification on about a prayer place that you are trying to add or update. We may also use your email address to contact you about any significant changes to the app or related services.

Anonymous Usage Statistics

Go Pray collects anonymous usage information using Google Analytics.

The metrics and statistics we collect help us to improve the app and are not personally identifiable in any way. They include information about your phone, your network and the actions you take within the app.

For example, we look at the frequency of screens used so that we can identify opportunities to improve the user experience; we look at how long it takes to load and update mosques from our servers to better manage speed and performance; we look at the versions of phones that use the app so the we could build features that take advantage of the capabilities in newer phones; etc.
